Description
Since its first edition, Open House Porto has sought to promote universal access to architecture and heritage, creating conditions that allow blind and low-vision individuals, deaf people, and those with reduced mobility to also benefit from the experience.
The program offers two tours of venues in Porto specifically designed for blind and low-vision individuals. Participation requires registration with ACAPO.
For the deaf community, the itinerary includes a guided tour with LGP (Portuguese Sign Language) interpretation. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, with priority given to deaf individuals.
For individuals with limited mobility, the detailed information for each location on the itinerary indicates whether access is full, partial, or non-existent. A “partial access”designation means that some areas of the site may be inaccessible or present physical barriers.
The entire itinerary is open and inclusive. Everyone is welcome!
